Pretty authentic Asian food! The pho was really tasty and the general tso's chicken with fried rice was one of the better renditions I've seen since moving down here
ALSO- haven't seen too many bubble tea places in the area, and this is one of the few places that delivers. Highly recommend the green tea flavor -

Just left the drive thru after sitting for 30 minutes they took my payment and didn't give me any change made me wait on my food when I finally got my food the man at the window said he was going to get my change and disappeared into the back after this another worker appeared and asked if I had been helped I explained I had been waiting on my change and he said he couldn't give it to me because the guy that was just helping me had left and he had no key to the drawer and that I couldn't have my change tonight. After I angrily explained the situation he went and got the man who he had said just left and they gave me my change 4 dollars short. I counted it in front of them and they acted like it was a big deal that they shorted me. Never again will I go to this restaurant awful service full of lies.

Ate here last year and it was descent. Didn't believe all the recent reviews. Man it's unreal that this place is still in business. Trash bags cut as tablecloths, no air conditioning, the waiter was setting outside when we walked in and then walked inside and started eating. The egg rolls were like they came from Walmart garbage and served with the red sweet sauce not fish sauce but I'm sure that would have been bad also. Pho didn't have any ingredients in it at all just meat, broth, and noodles broth was overly salty. Noodles were all in one big ball in the bottom of the soup wouldn't break apart. Didn't even ask what we wanted to drink just brought out water. No lime no peppers or cilantro for soup brought some old bean sprouts and wilted lettuce on top of them. One dirty spoon left in the holder on the table. Even the bottles for the chili sauce and hoisin were sticky. I eat pho and Asian/viet food all the time and this has been my worst experience and worst food ever! Waiter could care less I paid my bill and got outta there fast. Had that felling after like I was going to be sick. Everything tasted like old grease. 55$ wasted

What happened to Chinese food? Was it the MSG taken out of it? I refuse to believe it. In fact, absolutely not.
Bucks of Asia is one of many Chinese restaurants in the area that doesn't take itself seriously. It's disheartening that the only decent Chinese food in NWA is Ying Chang Hmong & Chinese Hot Food, a food truck at the lake.
Growing up, though I lived in Dallas, you could find good Chinese food even at the mall. There were several restaurants we could order from and never gave a second thought as to getting bad food.
This place, Bucks of Asia, fails to make a decent egg roll. In fact, it's not an egg roll. It's a sad excuse for a spring roll. Ying Chang actually tries to and succeeds at making a decent egg roll. They at least get the look of an egg roll right. They even have cabbage in theirs.
You can usually judge if the Chinese restaurant will be great, decent or sucks just by eating their egg rolls. I opened the box and saw them and knew right away the rest of the meal was going down hill. Next, came the potstickers. The potstickers were the only decent thing we ordered. The texture and consistency all screamed potsticker but the taste was not up to par.
Finally, the main courses we ordered, the sesame chicken and the general tso chicken, each accompanied by fried rice. For some unknown reason, the sub-par Chinese restaurants think they have to drown the chicken in sauce. This is never good. By eying the chicken I knew even before biting into it the chicken was going to be soggy. And it's not the distance between the restaurant and my apartment that was the cause. The chicken and rice tasted as though it had sat out on a buffet line all evening then thrown back onto the wok.
I give Bucks of Asia a 1 star because it's time for a change. It's time to get Chinese restaurants to make great American Chinese food again. Where are the "Make Great American Chinese Food Again" hats at? Maybe lose the hat idea... -

First off, this place is pretty dirty. I had some dirty silverware and there is a bathroom that customers and the staff that had NO soap! I didn't realize that until AFTER I ate. Gross.
They do have a killer, cheap pork banh mi. I loved it!
However, the "coconut soup" (Tom Kha) was horrific. It was so thick, from a slurry I assume, and had a terrible off-putting taste. I couldn't eat it, just paid $10 for nothing.
The massamum curry with beef was huge, as the coconut soup was, and wasn't terrible, but it is not massamum curry. The beef was plentiful and only a little chewy. The carrots and potatoes were good. But it was just like a thin soup with some flavor similar to massamum curry, but not....
Will NOT be back.
